Casa Jarana is a private event space designed by Casa Quieta. We intervened in a century-old house in Colonia Roma, respecting the remnants of its original architecture and inserting contemporary elements to meet the new needs of the space.

Two large walls embrace the house in its entirety, containing the visual and acoustic relationship with the outside world. A latticework of compressed earth bricks runs along the new walls, bringing the language of the house's original brick into the present through contemporary applications. Vegetation is integrated into the architecture of the house, playing a fundamental role in creating a fresh and serene atmosphere.
